Accessing ELFS Exams

Please see the step-by-step guidance below on how to access the assessment documents within Verve.

From the homepage, navigate to the Documents section, where all qualification-related resources and assessment materials are stored. Once you are in this area, locate the Qualification Documents section and use the search function to search for Entry Level qualifications. This will filter the available documents, making it easier to locate the correct assessment materials.

After completing the search, scroll through the results carefully until you identify the documents labelled “Live Assessments.” These documents contain the current assessment papers and supporting materials required for delivery.

It is important to ensure that you select the correct assessment based on several key criteria, including the appropriate Level (Entry Level 1, Entry Level 2, or Entry Level 3), the correct Set number (for example, Set 1, Set 2, Set 3, or Set 4), the relevant Subject (Maths or English), and the required Component such as Calculator, Non-Calculator, Reading, or Writing. Selecting the correct combination is essential to ensure that learners complete the intended assessment.

In most cases, the main assessment paper will be the largest document listed within the selection of files. Alongside the main paper, you will also find any additional supporting materials associated with the assessment. All relevant documents will be available within this section for you to review in detail, download for secure storage, and print when required for assessment delivery.

Please also note that for Entry Level Functional Skills qualifications, all assessments are externally set by TQUK. However, they are delivered and internally marked by approved centres in accordance with awarding organisation requirements. All assessments are subject to both internal and external quality assurance processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and adherence to national standards.
