Learner Certification (Awarding)

Review the information below to obtain certificates or recover lost certificates.

Any initial certification enquiries should, in the first instance, be directed to the learner’s training provider. Responsibility for the issuing of certificates upon completion of a qualification rests with the training provider, and they will therefore be best placed to advise learners on the current status of their certification and any associated timescales.

Where a learner is unable to access their certificate, or has misplaced it, they should contact their training provider directly, as the provider will ordinarily be able to arrange for a copy of the learner’s e-certificate to be issued. Requests for hard-copy certificates must also be submitted via the training provider, as TQUK can only process such requests directly from an approved centre.

TQUK can only provide certification documentation directly to a learner in exceptional circumstances. This would apply where the learner can evidence that multiple attempts have been made to contact the training provider without resolution, or where the training provider is no longer operational, for example, due to ceasing trading.

In such cases, and subject to the learner providing satisfactory proof of identity, TQUK may issue a copy of the learner’s e-certificate directly to them.

Where a learner requires a hard-copy certificate in circumstances where the training provider has either failed to respond following repeated contact attempts or has ceased trading, the learner should contact Customer Support to request a Learner Certificate Request Form. Completion of this form enables TQUK to process the relevant payment and arrange for the printing and delivery of the hard-copy certificate.
