Pre-Assessment Checklist

The Pre-Assessment Checklist is a tool provided by TQUK to ensure the Assessment Bookings Team has everything they need to register learner assessments. The Pre-Assessment Checklist can be accessed through TQUK's Proficient system.

Using the Pre-Assessment Checklist

The information provided in the Pre-Assessment Checklist is used by the TQUK Assessment Bookings Team to manage the booking, location and timing of TQUK-assessed components under the TQUK Together model.

It helps ensure assessment arrangements are planned using the information provided by the centre or training provider.

Booking components prior to Pre-Assessment Checklists

For components that require Pre-Assessment Checklist information, the checklist should be completed first.

This ensures the Assessment Bookings Team has the information needed to arrange the assessment correctly.

Completing the Pre-Assessment Checklist

The Pre-Assessment Checklist is a component added to assessment schemas on Proficient.

It is particularly important for the TQUK Together model, as it captures key information needed to support assessment planning and bookings.

Centre administrators should review the relevant Pre-Assessment Checklist policy and complete the required information in Proficient.

This may include:

  • preferred assessment dates
  • dates to avoid
  • booking information
  • onsite assessment address details
  • service delivery requirements
  • reasonable adjustment information
  • any other required assessment planning details.

            Completing the pre-assessment journey

The Pre-Assessment Checklist helps TQUK plan and manage assessment bookings accurately.

The information provided supports the Assessment Bookings Team with:

            • arranging TQUK-assessed components
            • confirming assessment locations
            • reviewing preferred dates
            • avoiding unavailable dates
            • understanding delivery requirements
            • considering reasonable adjustment information where applicable.

For the TQUK Together model, completing the Pre-Assessment Checklist is a key step in supporting the TQUK-assessed part of the learner journey.
