Proficient
Proficient is our application for managing the apprenticeship assessment journey, allowing training providers to register apprentices, track progress, manage assessments, and see results.
Accessing Proficient
Proficient is a web-based application which can be found at https://tquk.proficientapp.co.uk/.
When a training provider is onboarded with TQUK, it receives access to the system. The training provider can then add its staff as users. Training providers should ensure their user list is up to date.
Key features
The core features of Proficient are:
- registration of apprentices with TQUK to undertake apprenticeship assessment and end-point assessment
- gateway for apprentices undertaking end-point assessments
- booking and managing assessment components
- results issue when components are complete.
Additionally, Proficient allows users to:
- review order history and invoices
- manage centre details, such as delivery addresses and contact details
- access documentation, such as apprentice packs
- review data, such as apprentice completions
- withdraw apprentices.

Single sign-on in SkilltechOne
TQUK has SkilltechOne enabled on its Proficient instance. Should a training provider, assessor, or IQA work across multiple awarding organisations, they may find they use multiple instances of Proficient. SkilltechOne provides a single portal where a user can log in once and quickly switch between different instances. More detailed information can be found here.
